Seems like "mainstream" media is jumping on the natural bandwagon. I found this article in the AMNewYork. For those of you that are not familiar with it, its a small, free newspaper distributed daily in NYC, usually during rush hour at the entrances of major subway stations. Its a good way of quickly staying abreast of current events while riding the train if you do not have time to read the entire NY Times everyday. This article called " The Hunt for Healthy Beauty" basically gives you a pocket guide to ingredients you should avoid in cosmetics (pocket guide, very New York). Although the natural movement in personal care products has grown in popularity within the past couple of years, so many people are still unaware of some of the harmful ingredients in our everyday products. I typically only see articles like this in publications catering to that audience...ie...Natural Solutions Magazine, Boho magazine, hence why I was a bit shocked but happy when I saw this article. It was reassuring to see something like this in a regular everyday publication. My quest to bring this information to everyone and to provide products that are truly natural & organic has not been in vain.
